Community life: intensive support for associations
The Collectivité of Saint Martin, in partnership with the Fondation de France and Unite Caribbean, supported, over the period 2023/2024, the implementation of a system aimed at structuring and strengthening the skills of those involved in the community life of Saint-Martin.

Develop their associative missions and perpetuate their actions for the benefit of the common good.

As such, they are essential partners of the Collectivité and the State in the implementation of territorial public policies", recalled Martine Beldor, who continues with the associative life teams the actions of structuring and supporting associations.

Funding of nearly €4 million for associations
Mrs. Beldor publicly praised the Fondation de France and Unite Caribbean for the work carried out so far alongside the Collectivité, as well as the representatives and association volunteers, "behind-the-scenes actors who do tremendous work on the ground in favor of social cohesion."
The Collectivité provides funding of nearly €4 million to associations each year, with the help of the European Social Fund (ESF), to promote the animation and support of the public.
Mrs Beldor also thanked the teams from the community life and citizenship department for the work accomplished over the last two years.
