The Saint-Martin fire and rescue center

The Saint-Martin fire and rescue center currently has a staff of around sixty volunteer firefighters complementing the professional teams of around forty.

In less serious situations, intervention teams are made up of at least three firefighters. In the event of a fire, there are more firefighters: their number is determined according to the disaster.

Currently placed under the supervision of Guadeloupe via the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS), this center should soon be attached to the Collectivité of Saint-Martin, as part of the creation of the Territorial Fire and Emergency Service. Saint-Martin Relief (STIS).
