Transport: regularization of carriers

The Collectivité invites all carriers holding a certificate of professional capacity for the transport of people and goods trained before 2024 to contact the carrier service office to complete their registration procedures in the Register of carriers of people and goods.

In the interests of road safety and to ensure compliance with their transport activity, carriers holding a certificate of professional capacity for the transport of people and goods who obtained the certificate before 2024 are invited to contact the Transport Service of the Transport and Regulations Department.

Carriers carrying out transport activities on behalf of others,

- not holding the professional transport capacity corresponding to the transport activity carried out,

- not having a valid professional driver's card,

- not holding a transport license for the transport of passengers or goods of + or – 3.5 tonnes,

- not registered in the Collectivité's transporters' register,

are in an irregular situation and are liable to prosecution and payment of a fine of up to €3,000 in the event of a repeat offence, during periodic road checks carried out by law enforcement and authorised inspectors.

To avoid this situation, operators in an irregular situation are called upon to complete their administrative and technical regularization formalities as soon as possible at the transport office:
