Road safety: recovery of registration certificate

January 20, 2025

The Saint-Martin Collectivité 's vehicle registration service reminds all users that when applying for vehicle registration, the registration certificate commonly referred to as the "registration card" must be collected within three months, as specified on the payment receipt given to you when you visit the counter.

To recover the pending certificate free of charge, users are granted an exceptional period until January 31, 2025.
The Collectivité reminds that it is illegal to drive a vehicle without a registration certificate, which constitutes an offence punishable by fines and sanctions.

Users are therefore invited to comply as soon as possible. In accordance with current regulations, certificates not collected within the time limit will be archived and any subsequent request will require the payment of a duplicate invoiced at €50.

In order to allow all users concerned to regularize their situation, an exceptional period has been granted until Friday, January 31, 2025, to come and collect pending certificates.

We count on your understanding and diligence to regularize your situation and avoid fees or penalties.
