“It was with deep emotion that I learned on Tuesday evening of the sudden disappearance of Mr. Philippe BON.
Former principal of the Lycée Polyvalent des Iles du Nord, Mr. BON was appreciated for his human, educational and professional qualities. The students of the comprehensive high school, as well as the teaching staff, have had excellent memories of him, he who made it a point of honor to see the youth of Saint-Martin succeed. After having had a very successful career, he decided to enjoy a well-deserved retirement on his island of Marie-Galante. Philippe BON had kept very good friends in Saint-Martin, he will forever remain in the collective memory, as a friend of Saint-Martin.
The elected officials of the Territorial Council of Saint-Martin join me in sending our very sincere condolences to his family, his loved ones and to all those who accompanied him in his action over the years. his rich and unique journey.
