"I was very saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Rex Allen LAURENCE, in his 74th year, following a long illness. This passionate and generous farmer, appreciated by all, committed his life to the livestock sector on his native island of Saint-Martin. Anxious to contribute to the development of the sector, he donated to the Community the land on which the Grand-Case slaughterhouse was built and he has always been attentive to the difficulties of this establishment. His role within the agricultural community was paramount and will remain anchored in our memories.

On behalf of the Territorial Council, on behalf of my family and on my own behalf, I would like to present my most sincere condolences to his wife, children and loved ones. We send them all our comfort and our heartfelt condolences.

It is with deep sadness that I learned of the death of Mr. Rex Allen LAURENCE, who passed away after a long illness in his 74th year.

This passionate and generous farmer was very committed to the bovine sector in Saint-Martin. He donated to the Collectivité, the land on which the abattoir in Grand-Case was built. Moreover, he was very concerned by the difficulties of this establishment. His role in the farming community has been paramount and will be remembered.

On behalf of the Territorial Council, on behalf of my family and of myself, I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to his wife and his children and relatives in this painful ordeal.
