“I learned with sadness of the death of Doctor Yves De Polo who treated many Saint-Martin families and who was appreciated and recognized by our community.
Doctor De Polo marked the history of our island through its professional and human commitment to serving the local population. More than a doctor, for years he was a confidant, a member of the family for many people here.
Saint-Martin loses a man of conviction, a personality who knew how to represent his island with valor and courage.
The territorial advisors and community employees join me in sending our deepest condolences to the De Polo family, his wife Michèle, his son Gaetan DePolo and all of his loved ones and friends.
