Energy: Agir Plus system for energy savings in Saint-Martin
Following the press conference, the vice-president and director of the Ecological Transition department, Laurent Guillaume, met with representatives of the neighborhood councils to present the Agir Plus system and request their support in relaying the information in the neighborhoods.

Sobriety and energy efficiency
The Collectivité and EDF present the Agir Plus system to neighborhood councils to support the population in saving energy
At the initiative of Mrs. Bernadette Davis, 2nd Vice-President of the Collectivité de Saint-Martin, in charge of the Living Environment and Ecological Transition, representatives of the neighborhood councils were invited to the town hall on Wednesday, June 5, to present to them the EDF AGIR PLUS system, which consists of encouraging professionals and individuals to engage in a long-term energy saving approach.
Ms. Davis has called on neighborhood councils to support her in raising awareness among the public and local businesses about financial assistance for installing clean energy.
Companies with the Agir Plus label receive a state bonus that is directly passed on to the price applied to the consumer. For example, the installation of an air conditioner by a labeled company can result in a 50% reduction in the price applied to the customer.
The Collectivité will launch, during 2024, an information campaign on energy sobriety and efficiency and existing aid, in order to support the population on the path to energy saving and ecological transition. Ms. Davis has requested the support of neighborhood councils to relay the information as close as possible to the population.
