Since March 2024, the Living Environment and Ecological Transition delegation of the Saint-Martin Collectivité has initiated a revegetation and greening program for all schools in the region.

The Collectivité of Saint-Martin relies on innovation for its current and future development.

Every year, Initiative Saint-Martin Active encourages innovative and quickly mobilizable projects through the organization of its Innovation Competition, open to the general public as well as associations and companies. Her goals ? - Encourage innovation, originality, technological and social breakthrough - Encourage and reward the development of new local economic activities - Give selected candidates the means to carry out their project. In 2023, the winner of the first prize wins €5,000.

The ERDF is intended to support projects for the economic development of the regions of the European Union.

The FEDER grants aid aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and innovation of a territory through the co-financing of projects for: - Invest in research - Develop technology and innovation - Improve the competitiveness of SMEs - Promote the development of information and communication technologies - Support the transition to a low-carbon economy. The specific objectives of priority 1 of the ERDF OP 2021-2027 support the investment of companies wishing to: - Develop and improve research and innovation capabilities as well as the use of cutting-edge technologies - Leverage the benefits of digitalization for the benefit of citizens, businesses, research organizations and public authorities - Strengthen sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including productive investments.

The ERDF can support: - companies - associations - public establishments - entire local authorities.

Type of expenses eligible for ERDF co-financing: - Material: works, equipment / associated services - Intangible: studies, communication costs, travel/missions etc. The FEDER co-financing ceiling can reach 65% in Saint-Martin. This co-financing rate is nevertheless conditioned by the state aid regime applicable to the operation for private project leaders.
