The Saint-Martin Tourism Code 2024 is an essential reference document for all stakeholders in the island's tourism sector. It brings together the regulations, rights and obligations that govern tourism activities in the territory. This code aims to promote harmonious, sustainable and respectful tourism development.
The Saint-Martin tourism code: why?
The Collectivité of Saint-Martin, pursuant to Article LO 6314-1 of Organic Law No. 2007-223 of 21 February 2007 on statutory and institutional provisions relating to overseas territories, has, in addition to municipal jurisdiction, departmental and regional jurisdiction in the field of tourism. The Collectivité of Saint-Martin, pursuant to Article LO 6314-3 paragraph 5, also has State jurisdiction in the field of tourism. The Collectivité of Saint-Martin therefore defines and implements the territorial tourism policy.
