European Archaeology Days

Organised each year at the European level, the Archaeology Days are a way for archaeologists to promote their profession, to raise public awareness of the riches of our continent's archaeological heritage, but also to transmit the history of the territories to as many people as possible.

The European Archaeology Days take place in more than 600 locations in France and 1,500 in Europe, an opportunity to celebrate archaeology in all its forms. The Collectivité of Saint-Martin is happy to take part in this organization, under the leadership of Christophe Henocq, an archaeologist in charge of scientific missions within the Collectivité.

A program of free guided tours in Terres-Basses was set up on Sunday, June 16. We invite the public to register using the QR code on the poster and come in large numbers to discover these places full of history in Saint-Martin.
