29th Conference of Presidents of the Outermost Regions of the European Union (CPRUP)
On Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 April 2025, President Louis MUSSINGTON will take part in the conference of presidents of the outermost regions of Europe on Reunion Island.

A high-profile political meeting chaired by Ms. Huguette Bello, President of the Regional Council of Réunion.
The event brings together, each year, representatives from nine remote European regions: Réunion, Mayotte, Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Saint-Martin, the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands, and European institutions to discuss issues crucial to our common future within the European Union (EU).
Representatives of overseas territories can thus exchange ideas, move forward together and speak with one voice, in a particularly tense global context which requires collective and united action.
The CPRUP intervenes in various areas such as maintaining European solidarity and adapting public policies, integration into new EU strategies and specific support for territories, without forgetting the strengthening of the geopolitical dimension of the ORs.
