A single voice for Saint-Martin: a decisive step to better respond to the concerns of contributors.

On Wednesday, January 15, a delegation representing the vital forces of Saint-Martin marked an important step by going to Guadeloupe to meet with the Management of the General Social Security Fund (CGSS) Guadeloupe-Saint-Martin.

A single voice for Saint-Martin: not a decisive step to better respond to the concerns of contributors.

This delegation, composed of representatives of the Collectivité of Saint-Martin, the CCISM, the ITSEE, and FIPCOM/MEDEF, spoke with one voice, demonstrating exemplary solidarity in defending the interests of the territory.

An essential dialogue serving the territory

In a complex economic and social context, this meeting aimed to expose the specific concerns of Saint-Martin contributors in the face of the current situation. The discussions, rich and constructive, made it possible to lay the foundations for concrete solutions to improve the processing of files, strengthen communication with contributors and create a closer link between local stakeholders and the CGSS.

Areas for improvement identified and shared

During this interview, several key points were discussed:

• Procedure for receiving contributors: CGSS agents based in Saint-Martin will be the gateway for contributors to the organization, with increased local processing of files.

• Strengthening collaboration between the CGSS and local stakeholders: The establishment of regular meetings between the CGSS and the institutions of Saint-Martin will allow more effective monitoring of the problems encountered by contributors.

• Awareness and information sessions: Increased efforts will be made to organize information campaigns and training for contributors, providing them with a better understanding of their rights and obligations.

A unit that is praised and bears promise for the future

The partners present unanimously praised the quality of listening and openness demonstrated by the CGSS Management. But even more, this meeting highlighted the importance of a united and concerted approach to represent the interests of Saint-Martin. This synergy between local institutions and economic forces demonstrates a common desire to meet the needs of contributors and to build solutions adapted to the reality of the territory. By joining forces and their voices, these actors show that a collective dynamic is the essential lever
