Minute of silence

A minute of silence was observed, Monday July 18, 2016, at noon, in front of the Saint-Martin War Memorial, in tribute to the victims of the attack committed in Nice, on the evening of July 14.

President Aline Hanson, Prefect Anne Laubies, local elected officials, Commander Jean-Luc Deras, head of the SPAF of Saint-Martin, members of the police and civil society took takes part in this official tribute observed throughout France.

“We send all our support to the people of Nice who have been touched in their flesh and in their hearts. They can be assured of the deep solidarity of the Saint-Martin people (…). It is time for meditation and unity among the French people, in the face of terrorism which we must fight with all our strength, by brandishing loud and clear our values ​​of freedom, equality and fraternity. », declared President Aline Hanson in a press release the day after the Nice attack.
