Professionals are invited to deposit their garbage in public landfills

The Community of Saint-Martin informs all professionals that the collection of household waste, bulky items and green waste has resumed its initial operation. Traders are invited to no longer leave boxes and bulky items on the sidewalks, but to dispose of them in public landfills as usual. The 11 temporary garbage and bulky items drop-off sites opened just after Hurricane IRMA to store debris urgently are permanently closed. These sites will be cleaned and rehabilitated in the coming weeks.
It is now imperative that professionals transport their waste and bulky items themselves to the Galisbay recycling center or to the Grandes Cayes ecosite, as they had previously. usual to do it before passing IRMA. To help them dispose of as much waste as possible, the disposal of these bulky items will be free at the recycling center and at the ecosite, until Tuesday October 31, 2017.
The community of Saint-Martin invites professionals to demonstrate of good citizenship and to strictly follow these instructions for cleaning the public domain, and thanks them for their contribution.

Businesses are invited to drop off litter at public dumping sites

The Collectivité of Saint-Martin informs all business that the collection of household garbage, bulky refuse and green waste has resumed normal operation .
Business owners are kindly asked to no longer store up cardboard boxes and substantial litter upon sidewalks moreover to dispose of them at customary public garbage dumps.

All 11 temporary public depositary sites that were opened following Hurricane Irma, for urgent debris discharge, are now officially closed. Throughout the upcoming weeks, those sites will be cleaned up, returning to their initial state.
It is imperative to ensure that merchants take their own trash and hulking wastes to the Galisbay dump or either to the ecosite of Grand Cayes. In an effort to bring about waste reduction, the Galisbay dump and Grand Cayes ecosite will allow free offloads of rubbish until Tuesday, October 31st, 2017.
