The Resource and Information Animation Center on Training and Employment and Training Observatory of Saint-Martin, was inaugurated this Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the presence of Mr. Prefect Vincent BERTON, president of the CARIFOTEF, Mr. President Louis MUSSINGTON, the vice-rector Harry CHRISTOPHE and the vice-president in charge of human development and citizenship, Mrs. Dominique DEMOCRITE LOUISY.
CARIF-OTEF aims to facilitate the adaptation of training offers to the skills needs of the territory. It is now installed in its premises in Bellevue.
The Collectivité of Saint-Martin and the State hope to arm the population in the face of a substantial rate of unemployment and provide the local economy with the skills necessary for its development.
President Louis Mussington welcomed the initiative and thanked the State and Collectivité technicians who were involved in the implementation of this tool in the territory.
