Fish in all its forms and a festive atmosphere!

President Louis Mussington opened the festivities at midday by recalling the importance of this cultural event which highlights fish, sea-related professions and those who make a living from them.

Alongside him, the Prime Minister of Anguilla and the Minister of Culture of Sint Maarten were able to say a few words.

The 3rd Vice-President Dominique Louisy, in charge of human development, presented the biography of the fisherman Gary Page, former president of the association of fishermen of Saint-Martin, honored for his commitment since 1986 to the service of fishing.

The two associations of fishermen from Saint-Martin and Fort de France have renewed their twinning. Mirella Meraut, president of the Foyalais fishermen association and Marie Page, vice-president of the Saint-Martin fishermen association have ratified this beautiful partnership.

The public was able to discover the fishing workshop and test the many dishes prepared in the culinary stands and enjoy the musical entertainment throughout the day.

Tonight, the party continues and it's Jocelyne Beroard who will get the crowd zouking with our local artists.
