Commemoration of May 8, 1945
Mrs. Bernadette Davis, 2nd Vice-President, laid a wreath of flowers on Wednesday, May 8, in tribute to the victims of the Second World War, alongside the State representative, Fabien Sésé, Vice-President Michel Petit, law enforcement officers and veterans.

David Rabeau was decorated with the Combatant's Cross for his participation in external operations by Colonel Wintzer.
The children of the SOS children of the northern islands association presented the trip they made to the beaches of Normandy.
Every year on this date, France and its territories commemorate an important date in the Gregorian calendar: May 8, 1945, which marks the end of the 2nd World War.
