Artist's Corner: Mr. Serge GUMBS
On Friday May 24th, the Collectivité of Saint-Martin hosted its third Artists' Corner, by acknowledging a local educator and author Mr. Serge GUMBS with his first historical non fiction book “Les Poilus Saint-Martinois”.

This book was published in 2022 by local publishers Jasor. The book shares documents and photographs of Saint-Martin's soldiers who took part in the First World War.
The celebration unfolded on the author's biography, career trajectory, historical and open discussions on Saint-Martin's Veterans during World War I, between the author and the public. The event came to a close with book selling and signing.
The Collectivité would like to thank its culture department and library for choosing to highlight such an educational book and author.
