Temporary closure of parking lots for driving test

As part of the organization of the monthly practical driving test exams, it is brought to the attention motorists and residents:

• from the Sandy-Ground/Morne Rond sector :

The Albéric RICHARDS stadium car park will be closed between 7:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 , for the Moto plateau events.

To this end, training operations will be carried out from Tuesday, September 24, 2024 , in order to prepare and train candidates for the exams.
The Territorial Police services will ensure that they raise awareness, monitor and alert motorists and local residents of these provisions, in order to avoid obstructive parking;

Any vehicle parked illegally on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 , will be moved at the owner's expense by the services and agents of the Territorial Police.

• from the Galisbay parking area:

The Galisbay car park is a driving license examination center during the week of Monday September 23 to Friday September 27, 2024.

As such, on Monday September 23, Tuesday September 24 and Friday September 27 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Wednesday September 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. driving tests are planned for the B license (driving a small vehicle);

On Thursday, September 23, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., driving tests are scheduled for the heavy category of the driving license (licenses C, D and E);

The Territorial Police services will ensure that they raise awareness, monitor and alert motorists and local residents of these provisions, in order to avoid obstructive parking;

Any violation will be fined and the vehicles removed at the owner's expense, in accordance with the regulations in force and the impound lot rates (Deliberation No. CE77-21-2014 of July 8, 2014).
